Hysopt is much more than just a drawing tool, and provides extremely detailed and fully calculated designs for your HVAC installations. With our engineering software, you can drag & drop components from an extensive models library to build your installation quickly and intuitively. Hysopt validates the entered model and checks for irregularities at conceptual level. The software understands what calculations are behind the scheme and takes them into account. Possible technical problems such as incorrectly positioned pumps, faulty connections between active and passive distribution circuits or differences in design regimes are detected automatically, so you can calculate optimised designs faultlessly.
After the design stage, you can optimise your installation further by making improvements in each stage. Hysopt can automatically calculate all the components required once a few basic details have been entered, and determine the design flow rates, select the pipes, and optimise all pumps and valves. You’re given the best combinations for optimal consumption, so you can save up to 50% off pump energy, for example.
In this stage, you simulate the operation of the HVAC installation. You calculate how it behaves under partial load by subjecting it to different variables. The software can use hydraulic models (e.g. for valve and pipe losses), control models (e.g. control strategy) and environmental factors (e.g. the weather) to easily map out the system’s various KPIs for thermal comfort, energy consumption and cost of installation.
Finally, you can compare and evaluate your different designs to make an informed decision. You can use further analysis to determine which design works best for you when you compare different KPIs. The software indicates which installation design is the best choice for less energy consumption, more comfort, or a lower cost of installation. This transparency for the client makes the software unique. You can then export the Bill Of Materials for your chosen design, so you know what equipment you need to implement it.
