Hysopt welcomes Belimo as a supported manufacturer

Hysopt expands its portfolio of supported HVAC manufacturers with Belimo. The first Belimo components are now available within Hysopt, with additional product families already in preparation.

Hysopt is expanding its portfolio of supported HVAC manufacturers with the addition of Belimo. As a first step, the Belimo Energy Valve and electronic pressure-independent control valve (ePIV) are now available within Hysopt, allowing HVAC engineers to select these products directly as part of their design workflow.

With this addition, users gain access to one of the industry's most recognised manufacturers. At the same time, it marks the beginning of a broader integration of Belimo products within the Hysopt platform.

A more efficient path from design to product specification

A hydraulic design is only complete once calculated system requirements are translated into concrete product selections. In many projects, this process requires engineers to switch between design software, product catalogues and technical documentation.

Hysopt has long supported manufacturer-specific components, helping bridge the gap between system design and product specification. With the addition of Belimo, that ecosystem continues to grow.

Within their model, users can select Belimo as the preferred manufacturer, after which Hysopt automatically identifies a suitable component based on the calculated design requirements. Relevant product specifications and technical documentation are immediately available within the same workflow.

This helps engineers translate design decisions into product selections more efficiently, reduces manual selection work and improves consistency between design intent and final specification.

"By adding Belimo to Hysopt, we are giving HVAC engineers even greater flexibility when designing and specifying building systems. Our goal is to make the transition from hydraulic design to product selection as efficient and reliable as possible," says Joa Oris, CTO at Hysopt.

Why Belimo?

Belimo has established itself as a leading manufacturer of control valves, actuators and energy-efficient HVAC solutions. Its products are widely used in projects where performance, comfort and energy efficiency are key priorities.

The first Belimo products available within Hysopt are the Energy Valve and ePIV. Both solutions are commonly applied in modern HVAC systems where accurate control and optimal system performance are essential.

By making these components directly available within Hysopt, engineers can more easily connect hydraulic design decisions to real-world product selections that align with calculated system requirements.

The first step in a broader expansion

The addition of the Energy Valve and ePIV marks the beginning of a broader expansion of Belimo products within Hysopt.

Additional product families are already in preparation, giving users access to an increasingly comprehensive range of Belimo components that can be selected directly within their design workflow.

This expansion aligns with Hysopt's ambition to provide engineers with access to a broad ecosystem of supported HVAC manufacturers and to support them throughout the journey from hydraulic design to product specification.

With the addition of Belimo, Hysopt takes another step towards a more integrated engineering workflow. By bringing design, calculation and product selection closer together, HVAC engineers can work more efficiently, make better-informed decisions and deliver projects with greater confidence.
